Speakers at the event included Patsy Clairmont, Jan Hatmaker, Marilyn Meger, Luci Sindoll, Thelma Wells, and Sandy Patty. Each speaker was very inspirational and entertaining. Patsy Clairmont said, “Sarcasm is anger gone underground that reappears in a clown suit”. Jan Hatmaker said, “We can’t earn God’s love. We can’t lose God’s love. You are his beloved child now and forever. We are loved by a lovesick God.” Thelma Wells wears a bee pin wherever she goes to remind her BEES as an acronym: B – being aware of yourself, your gifts; E – we must eliminate the effects of negativity; E – we work for eternal value; S – Success is measured by what we overcome.
Although men aren’t usually present, the grammy- nominated pop/rock band Building 429 were invited and were a huge success. One of their songs “Where I Belong” won two BMI Song of the Year Awards.
