Congratulations to the 2019 Tribute to Women honorees, including Gail Graeve. Gail and the other 9 Tribute to Women honorees were featured on the June 6, 2019, Omaha World Herald’s Summer Events Guide.
Gail is an active member and leader of Elkhorn Hills United Methodist Church. We are thrilled that the WCA has recognized her in this way.
About the Women’s Center for Advancement (WCA)
WCA programs strategically address the many issues facing victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, while working to reduce the number of future victims through education and prevention.
The WCA holds two major special events each year, both of which raise critical operating dollars for the agency and awareness about our work. We invite you to buy tickets, invite your friends, and sponsor these events. Throughout the year we also host various awareness events for community members to learn more about our work.
Tribute to Women
The Tribute to Women Luncheon is a special event that celebrates extraordinary women in our community. For 32 years the WCA’s signature event, Tribute to Women, has celebrated extraordinary women in our community. We recognize each honoree’s service and dedication to making Omaha a better place for all those who live here.
Mark your calendars to join us on Thursday, June 13 at the Omaha Marriott – Capital District. Our program runs a tight one-hour starting at noon and ending at 1:00 PM. The doors open for seating at 11:30 AM. Go to the website to learn more or to purchase tickets. https://wcaomaha.org/events/
