Thank you to everyone who came to help with the Spring Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 25th. The work schedule was adjusted due to the rain and the 1 pm funeral. We had a diligent group of members who worked together and got a lot accomplished. The adage, “many hands make light work” was proven true once again. Workers were treated to refreshments of donuts and coffee.
Words that summarized this Clean Up day include: teamwork, windows, light bulbs, organizing, cleaning, light bulbs, furnace filters, storage, light bulbs, garbage, donuts, ladders, and . . . did we say light bulbs?
Our Trustees Committee organized this Spring Clean Up Day.
The Elkhorn Hills Trustees Committee is the governing body that represents the interest of the patrons of a church. Some specific duties of our Trustees include building and property maintenance, rent and space use within the church, property insurance liability and zoning compliance issues. However, they do a myriad of tasks both big and small on a regular basis. The trustees work closely with the Finance Committee, Worship Committee, the various Ministries of our church, and Missions Committee. These are hard working folks who do a great job.
Members of our Trustees Committee include: Rick Hullinger (Chair), Kim Jirgenson, Randy Bruner, Lynn Ferdig, Kip Meyer, Jim Martin, Mike Ough, and honorary Trustee Bob Heliker. Thank you, Trustees!
