Special camp set for children dealing with loss

Camp Fontanelle is working to meet the needs of children/youth who have suffered a loss and need to find a way to work through all the feelings that come with that loss.

Camp Fontanelle is blessed to be able to provide this camp session to help children/youth process all the emotions that come with the loss of a loved one. The camp’s 193 acres provide the perfect setting with its plush green meadows, hikes to its many worship sites and exciting activities like ziplining, laser tag, jumping pillows, Fort Jones Adventure Fort, swimming, Petting Bar and more. There will be a chance for finding joy and understanding the emotions that come with loss.

Camp Inspiring Hope

Inspiring Hope, to be held July 23-27, is for kids in grades 3-9 who have suffered the loss of a loved one. The camp will provide a path for healing and hope to enter the hearts and lives of the campers.

It will be through worship and Bible study that the campers will learn about the love of God and the hope that is available through a life with Him. It will be through fun camp activities that joy can enter their hearts. Activities may include ziplining, swimming, hiking, campfires, Gaga Ball and much more.
