A small contingent of Elkhorn Hills UMC bike riders rode in the 2016 Rollin to Colon bike ride for Colon cancer awareness on Father’s Day. The guys rode 10 miles. The NUMB riding buddies (Lena Beeson, Regina Bergman, Cheryl Robinson, Mary and Noreen) did the 53 mile ride! Congratulations to everyone.
According to Lena Beeson, “It was such a wonderful day. So many folks out to get a good, but hot ride in and everyone supporting the Survivors, it was so uplifting for me. Thanks to Team Semi-NUMB-Colon, all 14 riders.”
The NUMB ride (Nebraska United Methodist Bike ride for hunger) starts Sunday, June 26th. It’s going to be a long, very hot 250+miles. Find out more about NUMB or to donate to NUMB hunger, click on the link. Check out the pictures from previous rides and you can check out our route for this year.
