Our confirmation program is led by our Youth Director, and is geared for youth in 7th grade. Confirmation uses the Credo lessons. Each confirmand is assigned a mentor to walk through this part of their faith journey with them. It includes lessons on Methodism, the Bible, group discussions, personal reflection, field trips, and service projects. Confirmands develop their own faith statement to present on Confirmation Sunday. Classes begin in January.
Each year our youth have the opportunity to participate in a mission trip. There are separate mission trips for Middle High and Senior High youth. There are various fundraising opportunities throughout the year for students to earn money for the trips. On these trips, the youth worship together and share in devotion time as a group each evening. The groups build bonds with one another and grow in their faith together. They serve members of various communities by being the hands and feet of God.
