Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in service of the United States of America. Popular phrases like, “All gave some, some gave all” and “Home of the Free because of the brave” speak to the meaning of the national holiday. Be sure to pause and remember that your freedoms were paid for by the sacrifice or another.
