Joan Prenosil is the founder and director of Prenosil Music Studios. She added Kindermusik to her existing voice, piano, and guitar studio in 1991 when her youngest child was 5. The studio now supports five educators, almost 30 classes/week in 2 main locations:
- OMAHA CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC 3504 S. 108th St. (OCM will be moving to a newly renovated, world class facility at 71st & Cass St.- December, 2015.)
- ELKHORN HILLS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 204th & Dodge area
Joan Prenosil, Maestro Kindermusik Educator, is a licensed and certified Kindermusik teacher and has been a writer for the Kindermusik Website, as well as a clinician for the Kindermusik Educators National Conference. She received her degrees in Music Education in Minnesota, and is a former public and private school music educator. She has taught piano, voice, and guitar as well as performed in the Omaha area for many years. Joan is immediate Past President of the Partnership of Kindermusik Educators-Omaha. Joan and her husband, Bruce, are proud parents of 3 wonderful grown children, and 4 even MORE wonderful grandchildren, who exemplify the Kindermusik motto, “A Good Beginning Never Ends!”
