Friday March 10th marks the third outing for our young adults group, F.O.Y.P. (Fellowship of Young People). In keeping with a now annual tradition in the Lenten season, the “FOYP-ers” will be attending St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on 204th and Maple Street for their Fish Fry.
The F.O.Y.P. group gets together on a monthly basis, planning activities which allow for great friends, food, and fellowship amongst the members. Events range from White Elephant Christmas Parties, a table at the famed Elkhorn Hills Comedy Night, back yard bar-b-que’s, and even a family day at the lake to cool off in the summer heat! Kids are typically welcome to attend these events as they tend to have just as much fun, if not more, than the F.O.Y.P. members do. The children will not be joining for the fish fry as Jenny Meyer and members of the youth have organized a babysitting service for the kids.
The group will be meeting at 6pm at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 20500 W Maple Rd, Elkhorn, NE 68022.
