Prayer and Reflection: The Labyrinth
Prayer and reflection should be part of our everyday lives. But where do we find the time and when we do have the time, how do we inspire it? The Adult Education Committee is offering a Mini Retreat on prayer and reflection and how to do it with a Labyrinth. Please put this on your calendars, for a morning of inspiration and relaxation.
What is a Labyrinth
A labyrinth is a circular route to a center, that is made with an intricate design, with one simple path. Unlike a maze, it is impossible to get lost in it. A labyrinth experience is a personal practice for healing and growth—a blossoming of the Spirit within.
- Saturday, Sept. 30th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- It will be held at Pastor Judith Rainforth’s retreat home in Riverside Lakes, which is just south of Waterloo off of Dodge St.
- The cost will be $20/person.
Pastor Judith will give a presentation on the labyrinth. We will have time to use her labyrinth, or take a nature walk or just relax.
