About the Theme

Christmas Is in the Heart captures the sights and sounds of Christmas that are all around us – the singing of carols, “decking the hall,” and the lighting of the Christmas tree! Featuring songs that take us back to the simple joys of childhood and share the timeless truths of that first Christmas night. Christmas Is in the Heart will bring the joys of Christmas alive in your hearts and in the halls of your church this Christmas season!

Christmas Is in the Heart, from the Simply Word creative team of Kenna Turner West, Dale Mathews, and Steve W. Mauldin, is a brand new musical for the Christmas season, both accessible and appealing to any choir!

“For both the young and the young at heart, Christmas is truly a time like no other! Each year it offers us the opportunity to look deeper – beyond the stockings, the snowmen, and the tinsel – and it bids us to come and follow the star of Bethlehem as it leads us to the Light of the World. It invites us to bow our hearts as we draw near the manger to worship the newborn King. You see, Christmas is all around us…and the fullness of joy that we find in the presence of Jesus can be ours not just for a day in December, but every day of the year. The peace we find in Christ doesn’t fade when the season departs?not if Christmas is truly in the heart!”
