2018 COPE Classic Golf Tournament

The 2018 COPE Classic Golf Tournament is May 4, 2018!  So far, Elkhorn Hills UMC is being represented by a team comprised of: Brett Ritter, Craig Bossart, Jim Martin and Rick Hullinger.

The four-person scramble is $100/golfer and includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, dinner and prizes. All proceeds go to COPE so they may pass on the community’s generosity to those who need a temporary helping hand.

To donate, please put your donation in the box (designed like a golf putting green) on the table by the main sanctuary doors.

About COPE

Christian Outreach Program of Elkhorn (COPE) is a multi-denominational non-profit organization made up of twelve Christian churches in Western Douglas County. COPE provides basic survival needs such as food, clothing, and rent/utility assistance to low-income families who need a temporary hand up in Western Douglas County. COPE relies solely on community donations and support.

Dear COPE Partner,

I would like to invite you to participate in the Annual COPE Classic Golf Tournament. This is a fun way to spend a Friday afternoon with family, friends or co-workers while supporting struggling families in our communities.

Christian Outreach Program-Elkhorn (COPE) provides services to families for rent, utilities, furniture, clothing and food pantries. We also provide educational classes to help people with budgeting, healthy eating, energy conservation and job searching. By playing in the event and/or being a sponsor you will be promoting your company and supporting people in need.

Your support of the golf tournament and COPE is greatly appreciated. We are very blessed to have a community of very generous businesses and individuals that are continually stepping up to help a neighbor.

Time:  afternoon

Cost:    A four-person team to register is $400.

There are other ways to support the event, such as:  green hole sponsor, beverage cart sponsor, dinner sponsor, putting green sponsor, and occupy a tee box.  In addition, there are prizes that can be donated.
