Sunday was a fun-filled, action-packed day for the members of Elkhorn Hills United Methodist. With the Christmas Cantata in the morning followed by a ‘smashing’ pie-in-the-face event, who would time for much more than an afternoon nap? Elkhorn Hills met up at Marcus Village Pointe theaters Sunday afternoon for an awesome group gathering to watch the movie The Star.
Released in mid-November, the movie The Star tells the tale of the small mill-donkey named Bo (short for Boaz). Bo holds dreams of one day marching with the strong, white steeds in the Royal Caravan in hopes that his existence means something more than he anticipates. Upon meeting Mary, yes THAT Mary, he and his animal friends proceed on a journey they could have never imagined.
This movie is a great experience for the whole family if you are looking for something do this holiday season. The kids in our group made the movie that much more enjoyable as their laughter rang out in the theater. This movie comes highly recommended from me, Greg the Movie Guy! If you’re looking for more about the film, I invite you to click on over to my personal blog site where I go into a little more detail about the move, The Star.
