Congratulations to the Elkhorn Hills UMC 2016 graduates! We recognize eight high school graduates, six college graduates, and one doctoral graduate with ties to our church family. We know that God has plans for you for your good. We are proud of you and look forward to the amazing things you will do.

High School Graduates
Brady Binder will graduate from Elkhorn South High School and attend Metro Community College for his General Education studies. Later he will transfer to the University of Nebraska to earn a Business Degree. He is the son of Kevin and Sherri Binder.
Sierra Cammack will graduate from Elkhorn High School and attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Sierra was one of two students named as National Merit Scholar finalists. She is the daughter of Rex and Beth Cammack.
Kaleigh Holcomb will graduate from Elkhorn South High School. She will attend Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she is enrolled in Farmer School of Business and majoring in Finance. She is the daughter of Steve and Vicki Holcomb.
Jordyn Ritnour will graduate from Elkhorn High School will attend the North Dakota State Honors Program majoring in Microbiology and Psychology. Jordyn received the President’s Award for Educational Excellence and was recognized as a member of the Omaha World Herald’s 2016 All Academic Scholars Program. Jordyn also was an Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation scholarship recipient. Jordyn was also named “EHS Music Department Student of the Year.” She is the daughter of Jim and Brenda Ritnour.
Jackson Thompson will graduate from Elkhorn Mt. Michael and will attend Grinnell College in Iowa and major in either Pre-Med or Business. Jackson was recognized as a member of the Omaha World Herald’s 2016 All Academic Scholars Program. He is the son of Mike and Michele Thompson.
Nick Trapp will graduate from Elkhorn High School is attempting to qualify for the Marines. His back up is to take criminal justice classes at Metro Community College until spring then transfer to Wayne State College. He is the son of Jon and Sherri Trapp.
Jake Trapp will graduate from Elkhorn High School and will attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and major in Business Management with Sports Marketing. He is the son of Jon and Sherri Trapp.
Katie Wolford will graduate from Elkhorn High School and plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha to pursue a degree in Business. Katie was an Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation scholarship recipient. She is the daughter of Mike and Jan Wolford.
Connor Fraser graduated with honors from Rockhurst University, Kansas City, MO, with a degree in Education. Mr. Fraser is the new math teacher and varsity golf coach at College Preparatory High School in Chandler, AZ! Connor is the son of Bryan and Julie Fraser.
Jeremy Meyer graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. He has accepted an offer for a full-time position in sales with Schindler Elevator Corporation in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He is the son of Kip Meyer and Debbie Meyer.
Mary Carol Rose graduated this May from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO, with a degree in Environmental Geology. She served as president of the Northwest’s Loess Hills Student Chapter of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). Additionally, she was the academic chair for the Sigma Kappa Sorority. She is the daughter of Jim and Cathy Rose.
Joe Beeson graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln College of Engineering with Distinction-Superior Scholarship, recognized by Tau Beta Pi (Mechanical Engineering Honor Society). He received the Gamma Gamma Honorary Award for outstanding service to the Greek Community at UNL. Joe accepted a job with Honeywell in Kansas City. He is the son of Tom and Lena Beeson.
Jake Kaufmann graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Visual Art. In 2015 he participated in the Study Abroad program in Costa Rica to enhance his connection to art and science and to study the country’s environmental sustainability. He is the son of Pete and Sherri Kaufmann.
Matt Robinson graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in May with his post-graduate degree. He is the son of Rob and Cheryl Robinson.
Joshua Loren Snyder received his PhD from UNL-UNO in Educational Administration. His dissertation was: From Pre-K to Elementary School: Elementary Principal Leadership and Successful Transitions.
